BODIE TROLL
An orphaned bridge troll who wants to be scarier than his appearance would allow. When not attempting to frighten off intruders into Hagadorn, Bodie can be found palling around with his best friend Cholly, or doing odd jobs for Miz Bijou.
CHOLLY
Best friend to Bodie Troll, barmaid at The Drunken Pumpkin, fairy goddaughter to Miz Bijou, and a talented writer and performer who has secrets within her that are more fantastical than anything she could create.
MIZ BIJOU
Retired fairy godmother to Cholly, proprietor of The Drunken Pumpkin, and with a faulty magic spatula and a no-nonsense attitude, a flying thorn in the side of Bodie. Motherly and mysterious, Miz Bijou is also the unofficial overseer of the village of Hagadorn.
HOKUM
A warrior princess from an isolated tribe of monster hunters, Hokum keeps the creature population of Dragon’s Maw on the run, when she herself isn’t busy having rough and tumble adventures with Bodie, the only monster she’s ever called a friend.
SOCKO
The host of The Socko Report—Hagadorn’s popular puppet program and the #1 media outlet of the village. Dolling out updates with a punch (and sometimes a kick), Socko’s slapstick provides hard-hitting news and the occasional concussion.
PUD
Co-anchor of The Socko Report, Pud faithfully illustrates whatever story Socko is presenting—no matter how much it hurts.
PEDDLE
Beginning her life as a tragic creation of an evil fairy, Peddle found her freedom and friendship thanks to Bodie’s clumsy do-goodery. She also developed a crush on her hairy hero—predictably, to Bodie’s dismay.
GORGA VEX
Once the most evil fairy in all the Kingdom, and now, a boogey-ma-am told to remind folks that, though she may be gone, her terror will not be soon forgotten.
GOSSAMER
A stunning young woman with a gorgeous acreage of hair that nests a cruel and conniving mind. She’s at her happiest when plotting to do whatever will make Cholly most miserable.
BOG HAGS
A lurking evil patrols the borders of Hagadorn, where once these malevolent and misshapen spell casters and cannibals reigned on high. No one knows what keeps them from attacking the village, but if the truth were ever discovered, Bodie may realize his truest dream at last.
